Boutique restructuring firm Scouler & Co has accomplished one of its goals for 2011, opening an office in Dallas with the addition of Brad Walker.

The principal is a 23-year restructuring veteran and has primarily served as a chief restructuring officer, interim CEO or chief adviser in the turnaround process for the past 10 years. Before his restructuring career, Walker was responsible for Beane Walker & Co.’s high-tech venture capital investments and worked in Arthur Andersen LLP’s management consulting division.

Walker is chief executive and chief restructuring officer of SpectraWatt Inc., a maker of silicon cells for solar electricity generation.
